To earn traffic, follow the instructions on the Earn Traffic page.
The HitLeap Viewer application will show you websites of other members.
By doing this, you will earn Minutes.
Your earned Minutes will automatically be used to deliver hits to your websites. If you don't want to spend time earning Minutes, you can buy a Minutes package from us instead.
If you don't have a website or simply wish to earn money, you can do so by referring new members to HitLeap.

What are Minutes?
Minutes are used to deliver hits to your websites.
If you have Minutes, they will be automatically used to display your websites to other members.
When submitting your website into HitLeap, you can choose how long you want the visitors to stay on the website. Visit duration also determines how many hits you get for each Minute. If you select a visit duration of 30 seconds, one Minute (60 seconds) will get you 2 hits.

What are Hits?
Hits represent the number of times your website has been visited.
You can track them on your website with a tracker like Google Analytics.
Hits are coming from all over the world from a variety of most popular browsers. You have full control over the hits with settings such as visit duration or traffic source.

How do I get Minutes?
You can get Minutes in 3 ways:
- Earn free traffic.
- Earn Minutes from your referrals.
- Purchase a Minutes package.
Earning free traffic
When you visit the Earn Traffic page you can download the HitLeap Viewer.
The HitLeap Viewer will automatically start showing you websites from other members.
If your Traffic Exchange Ratio is 70% and you keep the Traffic Exchange running for 100 Minutes, you will earn back 70% of the time - 70 Minutes.
Whenever you have unused Minutes, they will be automatically used to show your websites to tens of thousands of other members.
You can run more than one HitLeap Viewer session. Keep in mind that each session must have a different IP address. By doing so, you can multiply your earnings.
Earning Minutes from your referralsIf your Traffic Exchange Ratio is 70% and you keep the Traffic Exchange running for 100 Minutes, you will earn back 70% of the time - 70 Minutes.

When your referral earns 100 Minutes from the Traffic Exchange, you will earn up to 30% of that amount.
The percentage you earn depends on your account type.
In the given example, you will earn 100 Minutes x 30% = 30 Minutes from your referral. The Minutes are immediately added to your account's balance.

The HitLeap Viewer will automatically show you the websites of other members.
You can download the application on the Earn Traffic page. After finishing the installation, launch the HitLeap Viewer and follow the instructions.
The HitLeap Viewer is currently available for Windows and Ubuntu. Mac users can only run the application through VirtualBox.

Can I run multiple HitLeap Viewers?
Yes, if you have access to multiple computers then you can run one
instance of the HitLeap Viewer on each of them, assuming that they also
have different IP addresses.
Do I have to run the HitLeap Viewer?
Since Minutes are automatically used to deliver hits to your
websites, you don't have to run the HitLeap Viewer as long as you have
available Minutes on your account balance.
How long does it take for me to receive my first Minutes?
It takes up to 15 minutes for your account balance to get updated with freshly earned Minutes.
When will I start receiving hits?
It takes up to 15 minutes for you to start receiving hits after submitting a website.
How do I check if the hits are delivered to my website?
You can shorten and submit your website through an intermediate tracker such as Goo.gl to see the statistics about received hits.
How do I earn money?
You can earn money by referring new people to HitLeap.
Whenever one of your referrals buys something from HitLeap, you are immediately credited with 25% of the purchase value.
For example, when your referral buys 25,000 Minutes for $21.00, you will immediately earn $5.25.
The cash is added to your account's cash balance and can be withdrawn to your Paypal account after you reach the minimum $5.00 balance.
You can view your current cash balance on the Referrals page.
Whenever one of your referrals buys something from HitLeap, you are immediately credited with 25% of the purchase value.
For example, when your referral buys 25,000 Minutes for $21.00, you will immediately earn $5.25.

How do I refer people?
Every member has a unique referral link.
For example, if your username is 'john', your referral link will be: https://hitleap.com/by/john.
You can view your unique referral link on the Referrals page.
When you give this link to somebody and they open it, they are redirected to HitLeap.
After registration, that person will become your referral.
You will also receive an e-mail notification whenever you get a new referral.

You earn cash commissions on every purchase your referrals make
What are Website Slots?
Each website you submit to the My Websites page will reserve one Website Slot.
There are 3 main reasons to use more than one slot:
- When you have more than one website that you wish to promote.
- When you wish to receive hits faster to your websites.
- When you wish to use different traffic sources for your websites.
What are HitLeap Viewer Slots?
HitLeap Viewer Slots indicate the number of HitLeap Viewer instances you can run at the same time.
Each HitLeap Viewer instance must have a different IP address.
How many hits do I get for my Minutes?
That depends on the visit duration that you have set for your website.
Let's assume that you have submitted one website with a visit duration of 30 seconds.
1 Minute contains 60 seconds, so a visit duration of 30 seconds will get your website 2 hits.
What is the Visit Duration?
Visit Duration is the amount time that each visitor spends on your website.
How much website traffic can HitLeap deliver?
This depends on the availability of hits and the Daily Hits Limit you have configured for your website.
You can increase the speed of hits by submitting the same website multiple times.
What is the Traffic Exchange Ratio?
The Traffic Exchange Ratio is the percentage of Minutes that you earn for the time you keep the HitLeap Viewer running.
What is the Traffic Source feature?
Trackers such as Google Analytics track the Traffic Source of your visitors.
You can choose between Direct and Custom Traffic Source when you submit your website.
If you want completely anonymous traffic, choose the Direct Traffic Source. Google Analytics will show such hits as Direct hits.
If you want the traffic to come from a specific URL (e.g. http://facebook.com), choose the Custom Traffic Source. Google Analytics will show such hits coming from the URL you specify.
